WisdomAI emerges from stealth with $23M in funding to fix what’s broken in enterprise decision-making

WisdomAI, an agentic data insights platform, has officially launched from stealth with $23M in funding led by Coatue Ventures, with participation from Madrona, GTM Capital, The Anthology Fund, and several prominent angel investors.
The startup is tackling a common pain point in large organizations: everyone has data, but few know how to actually use it. While companies spend millions on data infrastructure, the ability to get quick, useful insights out of that data remains painfully limited.
AI data startup WisdomAI nabs $23M to bring reliable, hallucination-free AI insights to enterprise data
With $23M in fresh funding, WisdomAI is taking aim at AI hallucinations in business analytics—starting with what it calls “business insight agents.” These are AI-powered tools that help teams move beyond static dashboards and surface answers in real time—no analysts or SQL skills required. The platform combines a set of reasoning agents with what it describes as a “Knowledge Fabric” that understands how business data is connected and contextualized. The idea is to help companies spot trends early, break down silos, and make smarter calls, faster.
Founded by Rubrik co-founder Soham Mazumdar, WisdomAI is building an AI-driven platform that helps enterprises make faster, smarter decisions. By connecting scattered data and replacing dashboards with intelligent agents, the startup wants to give teams across the business direct access to insights they can act on.
WisdomAI is the first agentic data insights platform powered by self-learning AI agents that can reason through complex business problems—whether it’s analyzing supply chains, forecasting sales, or answering tough strategic questions. It’s already being used by industry giants and Fortune 100 companies like Cisco and ConocoPhillips
Why dashboards still fail the modern business
Plenty of tools promise self-serve data. Few deliver. Despite years of progress in business intelligence, most employees still rely on analysts to run reports or update dashboards. If they want to ask a new question or tweak how data is viewed, they hit a wall.
“Despite the progress in data analytics, dashboards often fall short when it comes to enabling true self-service,” says Mark Nelson, former CEO of Tableau. “Business users are often limited to the insights that have been pre-defined by the analyst who created the dashboard. When they have a new question or want to explore data differently, they find themselves stuck. This creates a bottleneck and hinders the ability for everyone in an organization to be truly data-driven.”
That’s the gap WisdomAI is targeting—not with prettier dashboards, but with intelligent agents that respond in plain language and make sense of internal data, no matter where it’s stored or how messy it is.
“While companies have invested heavily in modern data platforms, the interface where people actually consume this data is outdated,” said Soham Mazumdar, CEO and Co-founder of WisdomAI. “This has left both executives and frontline business stakeholders frustrated with long wait times to critical answers.”
What WisdomAI actually does
WisdomAI’s platform is built around a few core agents that work together to pull insights from structured and unstructured data sources:
-
Knowledge Fabric Curation Agent: This one picks up on the semantics and context of an organization’s data to provide more meaningful answers than generic models can.
-
Instant Answers Agent: Ask a business question in everyday language, and this agent responds on the spot—no analyst in the loop.
-
Proactive Insights Agent: Rather than wait for someone to ask, this agent keeps watch for trends or red flags and surfaces them before they become problems.
The system plugs into a company’s existing apps and data tools and evolves continuously to stay relevant to how each business operates.
Fuel for growth
With $23M in fresh funding, WisdomAI plans to double down on product development, grow its engineering and go-to-market teams, and expand across sectors where real-time data insights can make a big difference.
“Real-time insights fundamentally change how businesses operate,” said Sri Viswanath, CEO at Coatue Ventures. “The difference is detecting problems before they become crises—whether that’s identifying budget shortfalls, predicting supply chain disruptions, or catching at-risk sales opportunities before they’re lost. Without accessible intelligence, these valuable early warning signals remain buried in the data. WisdomAI is introducing this capability across enterprises, transforming reactive business intelligence into a proactive strategic advantage.”
Madrona’s Karan Mehandru added, “Despite major data infrastructure investments, companies struggle to extract actionable insights from siloed systems, creating decision-making bottlenecks. WisdomAI solves this with an intelligent platform that connects disparate data sources and transforms them into proactive insights that provide a decisive competitive advantage.”
